How requests work Ask for a change to the DiGiCo, dLive, Yamaha or S6L tools, or something you'd like added, like support for another console. A sentence or two is enough.
Bugs go here too. Say what you did, what you expected and what happened instead, and which console and browser. A fix goes on the board like any other request.
A filter reads every request before anyone sees it. It turns down:
spam, links and ads abuse jokes text that tries to give orders to the builder or change these rules anything that isn't about live sound, mixing consoles or show files anything that would touch other people's files, accounts, data or the servers anything too vague to name a change or a problem Big asks are welcome, like a new console brand. The nightly build takes them on with a team of agents and ships as much as passes every check. Keep it about live sound, consoles or show files.
If your request passes, the filter rewrites it in plain words. The board shows the rewrite, never your text.
You get 3 requests a day, reset at midnight Central. A request turned down as spam, abuse, a joke or orders to the builder counts toward the 3; one turned down as vague or off topic doesn't. Vote for as many requests as you like, once each. A new request starts at 0 votes, yours included. Requests and votes count per connection: people on the same Wi-Fi share them.
Every night at midnight Central, the open request with the most votes (2 or more) gets built and tested. It ships only if every check passes. If a check fails, the site stays as it was and the request tries again the next night. After 2 failed tries it is parked.
Each ship gets a new version number. The changelog lists them all.
